Field day: Modern Farming

Geoprospectors presented the Topsoil Mapper at a field day organized by ecoplus International and Nourivit on "Modern Farming" in Nitzing near Tulln.

300 farmers and agricultural wholesalers from Austria as well as from the neighboring countries of Hungary, Czech Republic and Poland came to Nitzing near Tulln to find out about the latest technologies in the agricultural sector.

"The increasing digitization of agriculture creates opportunities for export. At this event format, we invite potential sales partners for our customers to Lower Austria," emphasize Gabriele Forgues, Managing Director of ecoplus International and Helmut Miernicki, Managing Director of ecoplus.

Michael Kopecky from Geoprospectors had the opportunity to present the agricultural soil sensor Topsoil Mapper (TSM), which analyzes and evaluates different soil structures using electromagnetic induction, to interested visitors. Afterwards the participants saw a live demonstration of the functionalities and possible applications of the TSM.

Matthias Nöster, CEO of Geoprospectors, concluded: "We already took part in the field days of ecoplus International in Romania and the Czech Republic and in the previous year we organized 15 field demos on our own. This sales channel is immensely important to us. This strengthens the confidence in the product even more."
