Geoprospectors has been awarded with the special prize for “Digitalization / Industry 4.0” in the course of the Lower Austrian Innovation Award!
On the 10th of November, the Lower Austrian Innovation Award took place for the 29th time. The "Karl Ritter von Ghega-Prize" is the most important award for innovation projects of Lower Austrian companies, as well as for innovative developments of Lower Austrian research facilities. The special prize in the category for digitization / industry 4.0 was sponsored by the Lower Austrian Economic Chamber.
For the managing directors of Geoprospectors GmbH Michael Pregesbauer and Matthias Nöster, who received the prize, the award was a special honour: "We feel reinforced in our activities and are glad to be awarded for our pioneering achievements in the context of digitization and industrial agriculture 4.0!"
Lower Austria's highest official for Economic Affairs, Tourism and Technology, Petra Bohuslav said at the award ceremony, which took place at the IST Austria in Klosterneuburg: "Innovation means future and is the basis for competition, prosperity and growth. We know that innovative companies are developing more dynamically, have greater competitiveness, create more jobs and generate higher exports. With pride we look at numerous well-developed innovative companies in Lower Austria. But to achieve economic success it is not sufficient to do only research and development, but to successfully implement the research results in the market."
The Lower Austrian Innovation Prize is handled by TIP (technology and innovation partner), the joint innovation service of the region and the economic chamber of Lower Austria.
