Exclusive Topsoil Mapper distribution partnership with CNH Industrial
The result of the intensive discussions and negotiations of the last months is an exclusive distribution partnership for the EMEA region. The first milestone is the inclusion of Geoprospectors‘ TSM in the CNH International product portfolio as well as sales and services for the sensor in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Benelux countries, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
Topic of the month:
Mapping - Analysis of soil structures without soil contact
Thanks to technical tools enabling site-specific tillage (sowing, fertilization) it is possible for the farmer to use resources within his daily routines more efficiently. It is easier to achieve higher work rates and to optimize yield. At the same time the resource “soil” is protected, and machine wear is reduced though the specific adaptation to actual soil conditions.
Mounted on any towing vehicle, the Topsoil Mapper enables autonomous conductivity measurements without soil contact and independent of weather conditions. From the recorded measurement data, soil maps displaying the parameters compaction, soil type and water saturation are derived automatically.
Soil mapping with the Topsoil Mapper in practice at FarmBlick
After many years of experience on our own farm, we quickly realized that the most important thing in precision farming is "creating facts". When looking for a device that easily and simply records differences in soil, we came across the Topsoil Mapper in 2015. After an intense testing period, we decided to purchase the system in the beginning of 2017.
Presentation of the Topsoil Data Analyzer at the Digital Agriculture Conference (HU)
Geoprospectors software specialist Judit Pupos presented the various functionalities of the Topsoil Mapper at the Digital Agriculture Conference in Budapest (HU). Networking, sharing experiences and presenting news on the precision farming market was goal of the event which was attended by over 150 participants.
TSM on Precision Farming Tour through France
Given the high interest and the number of inquiries concerning non-contact soil mapping, Geoprospectors will do a demo tour throughout France. Soil mapping with the subsequent option of directly evaluating the data autonomously with the Topsoil Data Analyzer is creating a lot of interest here. Michael Kopecky (Int. sales at Geoprospectors): "At the beginning of March, I will spend about 2 weeks in the areas of Greater Paris, Center, Auvergne, Nouvelle Aquitaine, Pays de la Loire and Brittany, presenting the TSM in 6 product demos. The needs and requirements of potential customers parties are quite diverse, and I am looking forward to an exciting tour!"

Announcement: Field day in Kraichtal-Oberacker (Germany) organized by FarmBlick
Soil analysis, site-specific farming, soil conserving cultivation, have always been a central topic at FarmBlick - TSM user from the very beginning. On March 27, 2018, the company organizes a field day on "Increasing sustainability in agriculture by promoting soil biology and using modern technology". The usage of the TSM will be discussed in a lecture and also be presented on the field.
Geoprospectors develops and assembles robust and motorized measuring systems for the detailed investigation and evaluation of various soil structures. The Geoprospectors systems are developed and optimized specifically for the agricultural application. They are non- invasive, easy to install and do smoothly integrate with all farming operations. Data management is simple and data interpretation highly automated.
