Newsletter May 2018
Enclosed please find our newsletter for the month of May with the following topics:
Topic of the month:
Soil mapping and autonomous evaluation with Topsoil Mapper and Topsoil Data Analyzer
Focus: Mapping - Analysis - Soil Sampling - Application
For agricultural soils, nutrient supply is an important issue. By carrying out soil analyses (pH level, plant availability of phosphorus and potassium), as well as determining the amount of magnesium available and the topsoil content, the farmer receives important information about the available nutrients in the soil. With the Topsoil Mapper it is now possible to efficiently perform soil sampling through the on-site generation of soil mapsonsite.
Soil mapping as a service at Davide Misturini (IT)
Today we would like to introduce you to Agrinnovazione as part of our User Story series. Dott. Davide Misturini founded the company in Treviglio, Bergamo, in 2016 and supports its customers in the areas of farm optimization and productivity. After a first trial rental in 2016 he bought a Topsoil Mapper system for his company in January 2017.
CNHi dealer training program starts successfully
Following the conclusion of the distribution partnership with Case IH in February this year, we are now in the middle of the rollout phase. The first distributors have already been supplied with Topsoil Mappers, online trainings and system setups are in full progress. "At the beginning of April we passed by at NewTec, one of Germanies largest New Holland dealers in Germany (Heiligenfelde) for a TSM setup. Installation, field test, data analysis and a presentation in front of the most important partners went really smoothly!" comments Michael Kopecky (Int. sales).
Marco Ravens, Precision AG Head of NewTec, says: "The interest in the TSM sensor technology is huge. Precision farming is rapidly gaining ground in modern agriculture."
ISOBUS control of agricultural machinery
As the first ISOBUS capable soil sensor, the TSM can be easily and simply used to control soil tillage and sowing machines.
The depth of the tillage machine, and for the first time also the sowing rate, can be adjusted in real time to different site conditions (soil type, compaction and soil moisture).
Michael Kopecky (Geoprospectors): "An installation at Hans-Ayrle Landtechnik in Germany showed that only a few simple steps are necessary to connect to the TSM and the tractor's universal terminal and to put the entire system into operation."

REVIEW - TECHAGRO, Czech Republic
From the 8th to the 12th of April 2018 the International Fair of Agricultural Machinery TECHAGRO took place at the Brno Exhibition Center. The fairground was fully booked and over five days 110,000 visitors, visited the fair booths.
A perfect environment for Michal Krutis from AGRI-PRECISON, sales partner in the Czech Republic, to present their services around the Topsoil Mapper to potential clients.
PREVIEW - Topsoil Mapper at the DLG Field Days
This year's field days, which take place from June 12 to 14, 2018 on the grounds of the International DLG Plant Cultivation Center in Bernburg (Sachsen-Anhalt), will focus on crop production in 2030.
Geoprospectors will this year be presented in cooperation with CNHi! We are looking forward to informing you about the latest developments around the Topsoil Mapper system at our booth G / C17.
PREVIEW – Case IH presents Topsoil Mapper at Potato Europe
With the Potato Europe at Rittergut Bockerode, near Hannover from 12.-13. September 2018, the international potato industry presents itself in an outdoor exhibition. At this special event with trial fields and machine demonstrations everything about potato cultivation and processing will be shown. More than 200 exhibitors from all over the world are expected this year. Case IH, our distribution partner in Germany, will present the ISOBUS version of the Topsoil Mapper Sensor to visitors at the machinery demonstrations.
Geoprospectors develops and assembles robust and motorized measuring systems for the detailed investigation and evaluation of various soil structures. The Geoprospectors systems are developed and optimized specifically for the agricultural application. They are non- invasive, easy to install and do smoothly integrate with all farming operations. Data management is simple and data interpretation highly automated.
The Topsoil Mapper (TSM) is the first motorized survey system for large area investigation of the soil parameters soil compaction, soil type and relative water saturation. The product also facilitates variable machine control in real time.
